The Desktop wallpaper download for May 2010 comes from our extended stay in Zurich. I’ve been living with this on my own desktop for a while now and I am still a little amazed that I managed to take it… We were “stranded” in Zurich due to the volcanic ash cloud and decided not to let it get to us, down in the centre of Zurich near the Bellevue Tram station was a small fun fair set up and because of the views out across Zurich lake we felt it was a must… I hope this looks as good on your desktop as it does on mine…

This months desktop wallpaper download comes all the way from Cambodia, Sihanoukville to be exact. The coast and Islands of Cambodia are beautiful and unspoilt (if you know where to Look!) This picture was taken at the very far end of Serendipity beach, quiet and well away from the action it rivals beaches found in neighbouring Thailand… And I’m a Thailand beach man through and through!

Jungle trekking through the hills around Chiang Mai in Thailand -We got the chance to get up close and personal with some Elephants, go swimming with them and trek them trough the jungle. This chap was a bit too keen and obviously thought he could do a better job with the camera. I nearly didn’t use this picture but I’ve had it as my own desktop background for a few weeks and every time I look a him it makes me smile so here you go -February’s desktop wallpaper download … Mucho Mucho Love… Come Join In!

January’s Desktop wallpaper download -During the 2009 blog trip, The Catalonia Experience we took a morning hike trough the Bergueda Mountains somewhere north of Barcelona. August’s Desktop Wallpaper Download is of our motorbike adventure travel in Laos from Vang Vieng to Luang Probang.
We rode 530km on our Honda 250 Baja’sfrom Vang Vieng through the mountains and back down again to Luang Probang… And then did it all again the next day, seriously one of the best things I have EVER done!!!

July’s Desktop Wallpaper Download is of Bamboo Island, A small and uninhabited Island near Koh Phi Phi in Thailand. We were backpacking through Thailand and while on a day trip we stopped off there. It was paradise! We went back to Phi Phi and arranged for a nights camping on Bamboo Island, we were the only people there! Bamboo Island is my favourite place in the world, if I never travel again I’ll be happy with knowing I’ve been there!
