Sharm El Sheikh is a year round holiday haven for beach lovers. As the British winter comes creeping in, complete with its dark mornings, frost and snow,  cheap Egypt holidays are just the winter sun wonder you’re looking for.

Jetting off to African shores needn’t be as costly as you would expect. Package holidays from discounted holiday websites are the easiest way to find low cost holidays online. Compiling the best deals from around the web, you’re guaranteed to be paying the lowest price for your getaway.

Although the beaches of the Red Sea Riviera are sublime, there are plenty of activities and excursions on offer if you do want to venture out away from your accommodation.

The Ras Mohamed National Park is one of the most exhilarating underwater discoveries in the world. A pure delight for scuba divers, this colossal coral reef is largely situated upon the wreckage of SS Thistlegorm.

It is believed that this popular undersea scuba spot is the home of thousands of native sealife species. Amazingly there are over 20 different variants of starfish alone, as well as larger marinelife including hawksbill turtles.

An alternative spot for scuba diving and snorkelling is Tiran Island. Take a professional boat trip out to the area for multiple recommended exploration spots and expert guidance for beginners.

Those who prefer to keep their feet on sandy ground should take a trip into the mountainous landscapes of Sinai. There are a number of companies in the area who offer quad bike rides through this rocky, open space, which is a top day out for any adrenaline junkies in your group.

Not forgetting any children who may be travelling with you, Cleo Park waterpark offers excellent chutes and flumes. There is enough aqua based entertainment here to keep all ages entertained for fun-packed afternoon.

Cheap Egypt holidays for 2012 and 2013 are online now.
