Terry... I seriously insist you do that, I really didn't expect to be charmed by Laos as much as I was and doing this motorbike trip was seriously one of the best things I have ever done, you just can't stop at those villages and meet those people when you go on a bus, I'm very sad its over but I will be back... Get a dirt bike and ride that road Vang vieng to Luang Probang is an awesome road it is the PERFECT road, no traffic and stunning scenery all the way!!!! check out www.gtrider.com for great info and take my advice and take 2 days each way, then it's not too long and gives you plenty of time to stop along the way... also an early morning (5am) is a must the villages come alive in the mornings... honestly you have to do it i really cant stress enough just how amazing it was!

I'm LOVING the bike riding, and completely jealous! Definitely something I want to convince Manali to undertake. We are taking many notes! ;-)
Good for you guys! Although sore and stiff, glad to see you made out safely.
